Gina M. Dankert

Gina Dankert has had a long career in information technology and office operations in a variety of settings.  She spent eight years as Systems Administrator for the law firm of Ice Miller and another decade utilizing her IT and management skills in the fashion industry as Director of Information Technology with Worth Collection and as Chief Information Officer for Bill Blass New York.  After lending her expertise to the Mitch for Governor 2004 campaign, Gina joined Governor Daniels’ office during his first term, serving both as Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff and as Deputy Chief of Operations.  Gina was responsible for information services within the Governor’s office, for development and management of the bill review process at the close of each legislative session, oversaw the implementation and management of the first constituent database contact system for this office and for oversight of the Governor’s fellows program.  She was also instrumental in the revival of the “Sachem Award,” the highest honor bestowed by the Governor.

Gina and her husband Gary have two children, Ami and Adam.  Gina and Gary reside in Carmel, Indiana with their niece Danyelle and their two Australian Shepherds, Winston and Bandit.
